Week 1

Day 1 – Sunday, May 19 – Praise Focus: Thank God for the gift of life. 

• Bible Verse: For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalms 139:13-14
• Prayer: God, we thank you for life. You are the author of life for in you all things were created. You gave us the breath of life. You created and formed every one of us in your image, what an honor. You sent Your Son to die on the cross so that we can have everlasting life. Thank you, God!

Day 2 – Monday, May 20 – Prayer Focus: Pray for women vulnerable to abortion.

• Bible Verses: Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses! Look on my affliction and my pain and forgive all my sins. Psalm 25:16-18
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, I lift up women who are vulnerable or considering abortion. I pray for those who are troubled by their pregnancy. Please grant them the peace to accept God’s will. I pray You will speak to them, and Your Spirit will draw them to life. I pray for her to find an organization like Pro-Life Mississippi that will share with her other options besides abortion. God, help the women understand the value of life.

Day 3 – Tuesday, May 21 – Prayer Focus: Pray for pre-born babies vulnerable to abortion. 

• Bible Verse: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
• Prayer: God, I pray for the pre-born babies. Please protect them during the pregnancy, so they are born and come to know You. You have a plan for each child from the womb and I pray the babies can be used in Your kingdom as they grow up. God, protect them from this sinful world. Help their moms understand the value of life and just how precious their child is to You. 

Day 4 – Wednesday, May 22 – Prayer Focus: Pray for churches.

• Bible Verse: He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches Revelation 2:29
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, we ask you to speak to churches through the power of the Spirit and your holy Word about the sanctity of life. Please illuminate the truth in the hearts of the congregations so that we see the value of every human life. Educate and equip Your church family to minister to all those affected by abortion. We Pray that they not only support with funds but with compassion and share their understanding with those in need.

Day 5 – Thursday, May 23 – Prayer Focus: Pray for healing for women from abortion. 

• Bible Verse: He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
• Prayer: God, I thank you for being a loving God who forgives us and shows us grace when we have sinned. I pray for every woman who has had an abortion. I pray they can find healing and forgiveness through Your Grace. Give them courage to know that they can help others by telling their stories so that the next generation does not have to carry the sin of abortion. 

Day 6 – Friday, May 24 – Prayer Focus: Pray for healing for men from abortion. 

• Bible Verse: Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. Lamentations 3:32
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, many times the moms are the only ones we think about being impacted by the abortions, but every child has a dad. I pray for the dads of these aborted babies. I pray in their brokenness they would seek You and You would draw them to You. Thank you that You restore brokenhearted people. God, please restore these dads to You.

Day 7 – Saturday, May 25 – Praise Focus: Thank God for His people being willing to give their testimonies.

• Bible Verse: Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, 2 Timothy 1:8
• Prayer: In thanksgiving for all men, women, and survivors of abortion who share the truth about this holocaust who, like you Lord, desire only the conversion of sinners. All praise and honor and thanksgiving to you Lord for raising up these witnesses in our lifetime so that not only will there be an end to abortion, but that abortion will be unthinkable in our world.
